2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse- Auto Car
Spicing up its 2009 Eclipse, Mitsubishi decided to do away with one sports car styling cue and add another.Previewed at the 2009 Chicago auto show, the updated '09 Eclipse loses the model's unique "light focuser" headlights in favor of projector-style beams, while gaining a new, blacked-out front bumper resembling the latest Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Nissan GT-R.
For 2009, Eclipse GT models also get a new dual exhaust system that boosts the 3.8-liter MIVEC V-6 engine's output to 265 hp (a 2 hp bump), standard Active Stability Control, a new rear wing, and HID headlamps.
The Eclipse GS continues with its 162-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, teamed with a five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic transmission. The Eclipse GT comes standard with a six-speed manual and optional five-speed automatic transmission (both automatic transmissions feature Sportronic shifters to allow manual gearshift control).
Four-wheel disc brakes are standard on all models, with anti-lock brakes and electronic brake-force distribution, plus larger, ventilated rear discs on the GT. A 650-watt Rockford-Fosgate sound system is optional.

Mitsubishi Galant 2009- Auto Car
The Detroit event is one of the most important motor shows in the world, with a history stretching back over a century. However, even with the drop-outs, the halls of the Cobo Center will remain packed as a number of chinese firms, including the likes of Brilliance and BYD, plan to attend.Meanwhile, Suzuki has also stated that it just does not make financial sense to spend money wooing customers at Detroit, a view echoed by the likes of Ferrari, Land Rover and Rolls Royce. Without a hint of irony, Rolls Royce's North American chief remarked that auto shows were "expensive". Porsche decided to pull out back in 2006 and has no current plans to return.
While the LA show was down by 20% in terms of exhibitors, Detroit is expected to fare worse, with 25% of its expected manufacturers pulling out. Upcoming shows such as the New York and Chicago events are also expected to suffer, with rumors that both GM and Ford are renting less space than last year.
Automotive Exbish-Mitsubishi 2009
The Mitsubishi Concept RA is powered by a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve turbo diesel engine which develops 201 hp (150 kW) and 310 lb-ft of torque. The engine features a MIVEC valvetrain with continuously variable valve timing control as well as low and high speed camshaft profiles and it’s also equipped with piezoelectric injector common-rail direct fuel injection that allows a lower compression ratio and a VD (Variable Diffuser)/VG (Variable Geometry) turbocharger. The engine is mated with a Twin Clutch-SST gearbox and the concept also features Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system that is comprised of Active Center Differential, Active Yaw Control, Sport ABS and Active Stability Control component systems, technologies which are currently used on the recent Lancer Evolution X.

Mitsubishi Auto Car : SEMA 2006

This unique vehicle, which headlined the marquee of Mitsubishi's SEMA display, was created by the Mitsubishi Research and Design of America (MRDA) team in Cypress, California, and started life as a 2007 Outlander, which is an all-new addition to Mitsubishi’s line-up that goes on sale in America in November.
For the Evolander, the output of the Outlander’s 3.0-litre V6 engine (normally rated at 220hp/164kW) swells to 300hp or 224kW with the help of an ATI/Roadrace Engineering Procharger system that uses a centrifugal compressor to produce 6 psi of boost. The increased power is fed through a 6-speed automatic transmission that is actuated by the same magnesium-alloy paddle shifters that will be equipped on the next generation performance model.
